Is it a dream or a wish?
To listen to what people talk about
Without actually being there
Just to get a sense of what makes people people
How others are them and not you
Isn’t it funny that we perceive mostly as WE are and their values by defaults are ours, at least in the beginning
Until you listen… to what they talk about
Is it religion? Death? Money? Fame?
Is it life? Can we be more? Is it okay if we can’t?
In this weird dream that i defined
I would be an invisible vessel
Roaming in the streets at night, when i put the mantle of being a normal person to rest, and i am only in my head
This would be my superpower, to listen to what people talk about at night, sober, drunk or high without actually being there
Sharing their deepest secrets, their shameful moments,
Open up their hearts, and confess in feelings
Or maybe letting their very real devils out
What if I can learn…
How to be
And each one is a story, an explanation
An opinion, a voice, a thought and an idea!
Have you went behind your boundaries into the other side?
However… with time, as I crave my hunger for understanding what makes people tick,
I will lose myself into the pool of opinions, facts, beliefs and simply stubbornness
My opinion will always be in the middle
I will lose myself into the abyss of big ideas, explanations and perspectives
That is when this weird dream of mine will become eventually, and surely, into the most fearful nightmare
